Ethics is the most significant element of the academic activities in teaching and research. Teaching and research forms a novel combination of knowledge transfer which needs freedom to express the knowledge. Freedom in the academic process is to express the knowledge and invention in the most ethical way.

Only entirely original papers can be submitted to IITM Journal of Management and IT. All the work or words of others should be cited or quoted appropriately. The author is responsible for ensuring that the article has been seen and approved by all the other authors. It is the responsibility of the author to obtain all necessary copyright release permissions for the use of any copyrighted materials in the manuscript prior to the submission.

Papers should not be published in more than one journal. Submitting the same research in different languages and the under-review manuscripts to different journals are also unethical behaviour, which are unacceptable by IITM Journal of Management and IT.

Editors adhere to the double-blind review in the peer review process. Editors and the editorial team ensure the confidentiality of the submitted papers which should be only disclose to the authors, the reviewers, the adviser from the IITM Journal of Management and IT Editorial Committee, and the publisher if necessary before publication.
